AGNOSTICISM + LOGIC + FAITH = MY SPIRITUALITY

Just as it’s now become acceptable to wear sweatpants to the grocery store, more and more people are turning away from organized religion and seeking answers through other means.   The good old days of wholesome church-going habits and smart Sunday suits are slowly disappearing.  A growing number of people consider themselves spiritual but not religious, unsure of whether there really is a planned design or whether everything is simply random.

Much of the existing dialogue leans towards one extreme or the other – atheism or theism.  The existence of a higher power is either believed to be utterly false or undeniably true.  There is no room for questions or doubts.

But there are those of us who are somewhere in the middle.  Or “confused” as the Atheists and Theists like to affectionately call us.  We are the Agnostics – skeptical and in need of proof to fully believe in a concept, but also having a mind open to cosmic clues and possibilities.  We do not dismiss ideas just because they cannot be proven in a man-made laboratory or through our limited scientific knowledge.  Indeed many of us may lean towards the belief that there is a higher power, even if we cannot yet prove it.

3 Chips on God is a skeptical, but open-minded, agnostic analysis of all spiritual concepts.
